Orders, Returns & Refunds Policy

Order conditions:

  • All orders place are subject to acceptance by Elsegood Silk & Fabrics and R.G Elsegood (Sales) Pty. Limited ("The Company").
  • The Company reserves the right to cancel without liability attaching to it, designs or fabrics which in its sole judgement are or will be or are likely to be the unsatisfactory during the process of manufacture. 
  • The Purchaser ("The Customer") shall rely on its own judgement and skill in all respects and shall satisfy itself as the condition, quality and sustainability if the goods and their fitness for the purpose(s) for which the Customer wishes to use then. 
  • The Customer shall prior to cutting the fabric check that all deliveries by the Company are correct and advise the Company of any discrepancies. 
  • Claims are limited to the invoiced price of the goods and the Company shall not be liable for any costs or losses including claims against the Customer. 

Returns conditions:

  • Returned items (‘fabric’) must be unused, uncut and in their original condition with all tags still attached.
  • Australian customers have 14 days from the date of purchase to return their order.
  • International customers have 21 days from the date of purchase to return their order.
  • Customers are to cover the cost of the return postage unless your items are deemed faulty by our team.
  • We recommend using a traceable service when posting your return to reduce the risk of theft or lost parcels.
  • We do not refund the cost of shipping unless the item is deemed faulty by our team.
  • Please keep a copy of your return postage receipts as we will reimburse you for these costs if the item is confirmed to be faulty.
  • We do not offer exchanges for change of mind.
  • We do not offer returns/refunds for discounted or sampled goods.  

Returning your order:

To complete your return please send an email to orders@elsegood.com.au stating your invoice number and the reason for your return.

Refunds 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and that you will be issued a refund. Your refunded credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. This may take 3-5 business days to clear, depending on your bank.
